Nida Nadir

Managing Attorney

Nida is deeply committed to obtaining favorable results for her clients. She is an assertive litigator who has extensive experience in complex intellectual property cases as well as commercial and business law matters. A primary focus of Nida’s practice is intellectual property. This includes the prosecution of patents and trademarks before the USPTO, and registration of copyrights with the U.S. Copyright office as well as handling infringement issues. The trademark prosecution includes trademark searches, filing trademark applications and providing guidance for clients on possible issues that may arise. Nida also has experience with a plethora of copyright issues. According to the USPTO, a trademark is defined as a word, phrase, symbol and/or design that identifies and distinguishes the origin of goods or services of one party from those of others. It is what identifies you and your brand in the marketplace. A copyright is a legal right that grants the original creator of art, music or literary work exclusive rights for its use or distribution. In a global market, trademarks and copyrights can be essential to protecting your brand and business. Intellectual property law is complicated and knowing what kind of IP protection you may need can be tough. Nida understands the nuances of this area of law and can help you determine your options – as well as the risks and rewards associated with each.
